DÜSSELDORF RHEIN KIRMES 2015: PART ONE

First part we look at the new attractions and larger attractions that feature at one of the biggest fairs in Europe alongside the River Rhine.

Ewald Schneider's Hang Over Freefall Tower

This long awaited tower finally made its première at this event. This the latest of the 80 metre drop towers from Funtime in Austria. The Schneider family also opened their more familiar Power Tower 2 at the fair and offered a €10 ticket to ride both and vote for your favourite.
















Löffelhardt's Predator on first appearance.

Making its first appearance at the Rhein Kirmes was one of two Moser Top Stars touring Germany.








Störzer's Black Out.

A new type of ride to the Fair-Pix camera was a Technical Park Pegasus, basically a cross between a Loop Fighter and a Top Scan.








The Flasher Turbine returns in new ownership.

After two years under the Ahrend & Jacquier partnership, the Mondial thrill ride returned with the Hanstein family who had changed the decoration of the ride to an aviation theme.










Rollercoasters alongside the River Rhine.

Rudolf Barth's Olympia Looping five-loop Coaster was believed to be making its third & final apperance.













Oscar Bruch presented two of his Coasters here as customary, the Alpina Bahn & Spinning Racer.













The final Coaster was Eberhard & Göbel's Wilde Maus.




Two water rides in attendance.

Löwenthal's Wildwasser Log Flume the largest portable version in the World.











Siegfried Edmund Kaiser's Rio Rapido was the second water ride.




Two giant Dodgem tracks.

The Golden Greats presented by local showman Herbert Kropp and Hartkopf & Osselmann's Diamond.
